• Give Now. Get Income for Life. Help MB Forever.

Doug Marquis ’58 found a way to make a gift to MB while getting a great return. Instead of the bequest he had always imagined, Doug established a charitable gift annuity. While his gift will eventually grow MB’s endowment to support faculty and students, for the rest of their lives Doug and his wife, Sue, receive a fixed annual payment along with a tax deduction.

  • Provide an MB Education Forever.

Chuck Stuart ’56 feels strongly that talent, not a family’s ability to pay, should determine whether a child attends MB. Each year Chuck makes a cash gift to fund an annual scholarship, and via a bequest he will establish an endowed scholarship fund—forever ensuring that great kids have the chance to receive an MB education.

  • Ensure Great Teaching. Honor a Favorite Teacher.

Dick Chadwell’s ’51 most vivid memory of legendary faculty member Bill Paxton might surprise you. “I got caught plagiarizing,” Dick shares, “and through that experience learned the value of honesty. It was a major life lesson.” In Mr. Paxton’s memory, Dick is leaving 20% of his estate to MB to fund the Richard H.W. Chadwell ’51 Endowed Fund for Faculty and Student Excellence.
